Mood : looking forward..

last nights SIFE UUM MEALCON meeting was awesome..

lots of ideas bounce here and there..

really had fun eventhough I was the only Malay there amongst my Chinese friends..

we were chatting..

"at first I thought that I wanted to take Korean as my foreign language but I decided to learn Mandarin again since I have you guys to practice with.."

"even though I got straight A's in Mandarin during college, I'm still not able to communicate with Chinese people, so what's the point right?"

"yeah, I think that's a good idea!.. you can practice with us.." chimed Soyin..

"hey najmie.. truthfully ah, I think you look like a Chinese girl.."

I was a bit surprised by Dawsons remarks..

he went on and said that my eyes look a bit Chinese-ish and my skin is quite fair..

said I could pass as a Chinese girl if I didn't wear my tudung..

hehehehe..

ya ka?..

but truth be told, I have taken my picture without tudung lotsa times, and some turn out a bit Chinese-ish..

so it's a bit true la, I think..

and my mum also once said that if I'm a girl who frees her hair, people can mistaken me for Chinese..

and if I could talk in Mandarin, lagilah kan?..

hehehe..

but maybe I'm only being 'perasan' about this..
