Mood : psyched!

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome peeps!.. wassup??.. it's a glorious Sunday today, and I finally had the time to sit down and type an entry on meh lovely blog!.. wohooo!~ \(^o^)/ again, I'm sorry for taking forever to update, been busy with student life.. huhu.. anyway, here are some updates of my life, that you might not know, since I didn't have the time to post em here.. so, yeahhhh.. sit tight and hang on to your seats, the plane is about to take off!~ wheeeeeeee!~~~ =DD

I now have stepped down from my post as the Executive for Sponsorship Bureau in the UUM Corporate Entrepreneurship Club on 17th October 2010.. I haven't been in this club for long, but I surely had fun with em joyous peeps!.. (^^,)

then on 21st October 2010, I was officially appointed as the new President of SIFE UUM by my fellow SIFErs and friends.. this is really an honour for me as the organization is mainly consisting of non-Malays, and being given the trust to manage it is a challenge I'm looking forward to!.. I'll do my very best to make SIFE UUM the awesome-st ever organization in UUM and in SIFE itself!.. SIFE UUM, WE DISCOVER, WE DEVELOP, WE INSPIRE!!~ (^^,)

with the previous Core Team members, my friends, Ray, Aevin, Aaron, outgoing Vice President Yi Chin and outgoing President Dawson..

on 31st November 2010, my eldest sister, Khadijah Kamisan received her Masters Degree in UUM's 23rd Convocation.. we hang out as a whole family, plus Kak Ijahs husband, Abg Hafiz and my Indonesian friend, Tommy.. it rained a lot during a period of 1 week, so most of the pictures are wet.. err, not literally la.. hehehe.. =P

on 3rd November, the UUM 23rd Convocation had to be postponed as the water levels in Alor Setar, Jitra and Sintok was rising rapidly and caused flooding in the mentioned area.. most of the recipients were trapped outside of UUM and those inside UUM are unable to go out as the roads leading to and from UUM has been blocked by the flood water..

the flood was really really bad, and my cousins house in Jitra was badly effected, 7 meters of water entered the house.. it was bad I tell you.. so on 5th November, my family and my friend Tommy went to Jitra to see the house.. we went coz the road was opened and clear of flood water from Changlun to Jitra.. our hearts sank when we saw the state of the house..

we went and clean all that we can, bringing in as much friends to help as possible, and Alhamdulillah, the house is now clean and my cousin has moved back into the house.. thank you friends and family!.. (^^,) if you want to see more photos, you can [click here]..

so there you have it, the updates of my life, up to 5th November.. then on 12th November, my lil sister graduated from her primary school and got 5A's for her UPSR.. then I'm alone and had raya and stuff.. hahahaha.. read previous posts to find out.. currently it's the final exams week and I have finished 3 papers, left another 2 papers on 4th and 8th December, then I'm home free!.. wohoooo!~~ can't wait for that!.. hahaha.. =D

now I'm off!~ gonna go jogging and keep fit.. I've lost a lot of weight and now I have to maintain it.. hehehe.. gonna go jogging, playing squash and biking with my youngest sister.. see you awesome peeps soon!~.. (^^,)v

I just returned from KL yesterday, from a Broadcasting Club trip to RTM, FINAS, Istana Budaya and UKM.. super tired I tell you.. but just to update you guys, hence this short post.. I met this chick when I was at FINAS.. awesome place btw.. plus we got to see a sneak peek of Farid Kamils upcoming movie, Estet.. so that was awesome.. anyway, back to the story at hand.. I was telling you guys I met LJ.. do you know who she is?.. hohohoho.. it's the one and only, Liyana Jasmay..

err, I just knew who she was a few days ago.. saw Histeria and Nayang Rapik or something.. it was played on the tv in the bus.. anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy.. here's the picture..

Mood : overexcited yet sleepy at the same time

Assalamualaikum awesome peeps, and hello fellow Earthlings!.. lol.. it's now the 8th day of Eid Mubarak, and I have given you peeps NO UPDATE whatsoever on my whereabouts.. how evil is that, right?.. so here I am, burning the midnight oil to update meh blog.. and since I'm sharing on Aidilfitri memories, your eyes shall burn with my camwhoring, fun loving, mouth watering PICTURES!.. muahahahahahaha!~~ evil laugh cough cough..

1st Day of Raya

this day was celebrated among family members.. this year we are greatful to have the WHOLE family under 1 roof, including my sisters husband, abg hafiz.. so that's a total of 7 people being loud on the 1st day of raya.. wohooo!~.. wait, or was it just me?.. hurmmmm...

anyway, at 8.15am on this day, we flooded the UUM mosque for the Raya prayers and soon after feasted on the mouthwatering foods prepared by the mosque.. take that people, eating during daylight again!.. lol!~ but yeah, pictures aren't here coz I'm so lazy to transfer them from my mums camera.. I took a picture with an Idonesian singer who also happens to be a PhD student in UUM.. forgot his name tho.. I'm not even suppose to tell you guys about him cause he's keeping a low profile.. but since I already typed it and is lazy to press the backspace button so, oh well.. moving on~~

after prayers, we returned home and dolled up for the family photoshoot.. but first and foremost, we ask forgiveness from the people we did wrong to, especially our parents, well, in my case, my mum..

I'm sorry for all the wrong things, the mistakes, the heartaches, the tears, the worries, the fears, the pain that I have done to you in the course of my 22 years of living on Earth.. I'll do my best to be a good daughter, now and in the future.. please forgive my wrong doings ya mum?.. and thank you for the duit raya!.. hehehe.. =P I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH MUMMY! (^^,)

but I'm sure he's well paid for his services on this particular day.. hehe..

anyway, once we got to my cousins house, I got some more duit raya too, plus stuffing my face with delicious foods.. wheeee!~~ then comes the cutesy pie QA that I mentioned in the previous post..

after filling ourselves with foods, we made our way to friends houses.. and we actually went to the hospital in Alor Setar, to see a student of my mums who got into an accident a few days before raya.. a pity for him and his family, really.. but since I don't know him, I ended up going around cam-whoring.. lol!~.. insensitive much?.. =P

I'm not a genuine girl

Mood : uhuk

assalamualaikum and good evening.. before you go on a spree of wild guesses on what I meant on my title of me not being a genuine girl, let me inform you myself.. first of all, I'm not a lesbian, nor am I a tomboy.. I'm not a genuine girl in the sense that, I'm not so into bags or shoes, at least not as much as other girls.. I personally have no interest in bags, especially those costing more than RM50.. heck, the most expensive bag I have now only cost me RM25, and for me that's a lot.. if I think RM25 is expensive, imagine my surprise when I see bags up to RM2000, and small bags at that ftw!.. really not for me, I'm not a genuine girl, I'll admit that, for not going crazy over bag sales in shopping malls.. and I sometimes don't understand the art and fashion of bags, I really don't..

but another thing that adds up to me being a not so genuine girl is, I don't go super crazy over shoes.. okay, admittedly, I do like shoes, but I have my limit.. what's up with wearing really high heels and walking around then going home feeling crappy and hurting feet?.. I mean, COME ON LAH!.. why suffer?.. not just suffering on your feet, but suffering for your pockets as well.. I've seen shoes and heels costing more than RM2000, and people still buy that.. but okay la, you have money to spend, but think of all the things you can do with RM2000 instead of spending it on a pair of shoes that you'd probably wear once or twice only.. I have a couple of shoes, some are high heels, but none goes over RM30, seriously, not kidding.. but I do want to own a pair of sexy boots one day, hehehe..

but the one thing that makes me a genuine girl is, I like dresses!.. wahahaha.. not just those I actually can wear, but also those I know I can never pull off, coz of it being too sexy or not my body type kind of clothes.. but I really do like to see it, and wish to see myself in those kinds of clothes.. seriously, what are the chances of me wearing these kind of clothes?.. NONE.. but hey, I can dream, can't I?.. (^^,)

OMG, so pretty, right?.. but I can never pull on that look wearing that, I'll look weird and stupid, plus I don't have great legs like her.. so I'll let it be in my dreams.. hoho.. maybe I can wear them for my husband later.. sayang, cantik tak?.. ahahahaha, gelak guleng guleng! =DDD

so there you have it, I'm not a genuine girl for not going crazy over bags and shoes like the rest of the female population.. don't like it?.. then sue me, see if I care!.. bahahaha.. but errr, please don't, I have no money to pay for a lawyer, I only have lawyer buruk.. hahaha.. =P

31st December 09 was a tiring day for me..

classes non-stop from 8am till 2pm..

breakfast and lunch was skipped, due to not enough time to eat..

I know, it's not good for my health, don't lecture me..

but I was also hyped, coz my 2nd horse riding class was at 5 pm..

yeah, more time to spend with Martina!

and this time, there's no leash..

just me and her, and I'm controlling the reins..

plus I was ok enough to ride in the bigger field..

walaweih, only the second class and I'm riding with the big boys and girls!

just a quick update..

I've started taking horse riding class and it began yesterday, 30th December..

it was AWESOME!!!

guys, meet Martina, the nicest horse ever!

walawei, I can ride a horse now!!

still in the learning process but my coach said I did quite well for my first session..

said I'm a fast learner..

hehehe..

in case you're wondering, this class is not for free..

RM 150 for 8 sessions..

quite cheap, that's why I entered the class..

hehehe..

but the price is only for UUM students..

for outsiders - RM 500

for staff of UUM - RM 350

students get the ultimate cheap price of RM 150..

but students can get it for free, by taking equestrian as a co-curricular activity..

it takes a few semesters before you can actually ride the horse tho, coz they learn the theory and stuff first..

hohoho..

being the non-patient me, I paid to learn instead..

=P

so for UUM students, grab this chance to learn how to ride a horse..

even international students are registering..
