the night out

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome peeps!

so last night I went out with some friends for dinner.. it wasn't planned, I was kinda kidnapped by a friend of mine and was made to go to the dinner.. LOL.. well, in her defense, she just informed me of the dinner which I kindly decline as I wanted to go home and watch episodes of How I Met Your Mother I recently downloaded.. okay, I needed an actual social life, obviously.. so anyway, when she told me about the dinner, I straight away took out my wedding cards and scribbled down their names and asked her to pass em all to them.. she grumbled for a bit, but accepted the cards anyway.. 

so the story of how I got kidnapped is a different thing.. well see, my friend offered to send me to the LRT station and I was thrilled.. I don't have to walk all the way to Paradigm Mall to get the free shuttle bus (why waste RM1 on regular bus when free shuttle bus is available right?) and I was as happy as a clam!~ ^_^ so in the car, my friend still tried to persuade me to go to the dinner.. she even called another one of my friend to try to convince me.. awww, don't they love me? hehehehe.. I mean, I am tempted, but being someone who's about to get married, I kinda need to practice on being a good wife.. so what I did was I called my fiancee and told him about the dinner plans.. being the awesome fiancee ever, he allowed, YAY!~ 

so the dinner wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed a night out with them.. we went to Tropicana City shopping mall and ate at Papa John's.. there were 7 of us; Didi, Julie, Fareez, Naz, Irsyad, Ali and myself.. we ordered the Pizza set for 6 people and Julie added a spaghetti.. we were having fun and making lame jokes and pretty much just bonding stuff la.. we were so loud that the Chinese family sitting at the table next to as were glancing every time someone started laughing insanely loud, and usually it was the boys (fareez and irsyad LOL) and the other awesome part was that the dinner was on Naz.. he offered to pay for everything which was a very generous thing to do.. awwww, thanks Naz! ^_^

so anyway, the dinner was a great time to hand them their wedding invitation cards.. and me being me, I wrote down their names with different tittles.. they were all so excited and started making jokes and comparing who was the best and stuff (yes I have weird friends).. 

so basically what I did was circle different tittles such as Tan Seri, Dato' or Y.B and write their names on the dotted line.. it was really a spur of the moment thing when I scribbled them down, I didn't think they were gonna make so much fuss about it later on.. hahaha.. the names were given out as below..

hahahaha, I laughed so hard when he asked me that.. but sorry bro, that was what popped out in my head at that time.. but Fareez and Irsyad were excited and kept going on and on about their names so it was fun to watch.. at least they loved it.. plus they were all making plans of driving down for the wedding too.. all in all, I had a great time and they sent me home afterwards around 10pm..

so what I wanna say is probably is thank you Didi, for kidnapping me.. =)

it's currently the final exams season in UUM and everyone is buzzing about burying their faces in books and notes.. you should pop by our Smart Reading Room at the Library and see the war preparations taking place there, LOL.. I would like to say that I'm doing that as well at the moment for my remaining 3 papers, but I'm here in front of my laptop and typing this entry for all y'all to read, am i right? =D

anyway, most of you have heard, or read about the utmost surprising and over-the-top (insert puke noises here) of me being engaged.. I would actually like to thank all my friends and family who came and also to those who wished congratulations on Facebook.. it really does mean a lot to me, so thank you everyone! ^^

Most of my friends on Facebook were surprised, and it all started with a picture a friend of mine posted on FB.. that was the instigator (LOL) to the uproar (LOL again).. some were mad coz they weren't invited to the ceremony, some were taken aback of the abruptness of everything, some were confused as I was not currently in any relationship with anyone at the moment, some were curious as to who I'm getting engaged to and some were just happy for me yay! =D 

the reason why I didn't really publish or tell everyone about my engagement on 26th of May was because I wanted it to be a surprise.. you know, just in case it didn't happen or stuff.. that and I can't afford to invite everyone and pay for the food.. TTT^TTT  my apologies to everyone.. but but buttttttt, people will get invites for the reception ceremony taking place early next year, InsyaAllah.. ^^

so on to the topic at hand, WHO IS HE? who is my fiancee? who is the dude that captured and locked my heart in a safety box? (LOL) who is this guy? that still remains to be a mystery.. =) I have actually chosen to keep secret the identity of my fiancee, at least for now.. why? CAUSE I CAN, LOL.. it's not like I want to all diva and stuff, or want to get the attention of people, but I just WANT TO.. this is my choice people, there isn't much you can do, right? (^^,)

and until recent, I didn't know that this - the identity of Mr Fiancee - was such a big issue.. I know certain people are more curious of this topic compared to others, mostly my peers in UUM.. since I have done nothing much in keeping below the radar since my first semester, most people know of my existence, particularly to whom I'm close with, especially of the opposite sex.. I admit, I have more guy friends than girl friends but I'm okay with both genders actually.. (=___=! 

close friends of mine who were present at my engagement ceremony particularly were ambushed by people who wanted to know who Mr Fiancee is.. especially two of my best friends, Hanes and Kwee Ling a.k.a Amoi.. they might or might not know who Mr Fiancee is, but do you really have to ambush and corner them? really? I mean, come on la, there are reasons why they're not giving you answers.. please stop bothering them, please? I feel bad when they come to me and say, "hey do you know this girl/guy/dude from this class/this event/this course, she/he asked me who your fiancee is.. I didn't say anything but she/he kept bothering me.."  I feel bad, seriously.. Hanes and Amoi, I'm sorry~~ TTTT^TTTT

regarding Mr Fiancee, his identity will still remain a secret, for now.. you can guess all you want, but I won't say yes and I won't say no to any of your guesses, I'm serious.. =) do you need some hints to start guessing? ^^

hint no 1 : he's Malaysian, not a foreigner.. =D

hint no 2 : he's 24 years old this year

hint no 3 : we've known each other for more than a year

hint no 4 : he's one of my best friend prior to being my fiancee

hint no 5 : he has finished his Degree level

hint no 6 : he has/was/did stay in DPP TNB, UUM

hint no 7 : he has an awesome smile.. =)

okay, enough of the hints.. I can't keep this secret forever, so no worries, you guys will know who he is, one day, not today, but one day, in the future, as in, not now.. LOL

so I'm gonna hit the books now.. my next paper is on 13th, then on 14th and the last paper for my degree level (insyaAllah) will be on 27th.. then I'm off for a short holiday in Phuket (yay!) before starting my practical in KL on 9th July.. so till the next entry, later awesome peeps! keep smiling! ^^

Mood : hyped!

Assalamualaikum fellow Earthlings!.. how are you guys?.. I'm sure everyone is awesome and cute and handsome and sturdy and bla bla bla the list goes on.. hahaha.. point is, I'm sure everyone is doing great coz you're here reading meh blog ftw! ^^

today is the 15th of August, meaning it's the 15th day of fasting in the month of Ramadhan, meaning we're halfway to go! ^^ so to all my Muslim friends, SALAM RAMADHAN!~ takyah main mercun, nanti hilang jari korang yang comel2 tu, camana nak taip mesej wish raya kat aku? (=____=;;

so last month, on 25th and 26th of July 2011, SIFE Malaysia National Exposition was held at PWTC where 23 universities competed for the chance to represent Malaysia to SIFE World Cup which will be held in October in KLCC for the very first time woot woot!~ =D SIFE UUM came with high hopes this year, after making it into the semi finals in 2010, we were determined to make it to the finals and win the championship and bragging rights ftw!~ XD but dang, this year came with more competition, more fierce than we had hoped.. 6 new teams competed this year, each with good projects and high with enthusiasm to make a change in the community around them.. but, being a competition, there can only be one representative for WC..

this year proves to be a year where SIFE UUM re-wrote history, made a few people cry, made lots jump with joy, but most importantly, made the people we care about - CEDI officers, advisors, student alumnis, student advisors, our university, those who believed in us, our team and ourselves - proud of our achievements.. ^^ this year, we might have not won the championship, but being in the finals as the "Finalist Four" is a whole new achievement that got the whole team grinning from ear to ear..

Alhamdulillah, SIFE UUM was the 2nd Runner Up for SMNE 2011 where we manged to outshine in the Chartis League with UNITEN, UiTM and USIM for the first time in Semi's, and proceed to Finals with UTP, UMS and UMT.. all were great contenders, believe me, it was neck to neck at the finals.. but UTP's project was epically awesome that I'd be surprised if they didn't win.. and dude, their HD videos were awesome ftw!~ XD UMS was great as well, and their media impression was awesome too.. maybe SIFE UUM should have more media coverage and Miss Asia or something in the future.. LOL!~ UMT was great too, something about crabby fatty, I didn't get to see their whole presentation coz came in late due to checking out of the hotel..

so this years championship goes to SIFE Universiti Teknologi Petronas!~ congrats guys! awesome projects! make Malaysia proud!~ congratulations!~ it's great to see a new uni representing Malaysia, keep it up.. InsyaAllah SIFE UUM will be there to support you guys! ^^

1st Runner Up goes to SIFE Universiti Malaysia Sabah!~ awesome media impression, great line of presenters, awesome videos! good job guys, keep it up and help those in Sabah who need the SIFE spirit!~ ^^ congrats!

and 2nd Runner Up goes to SIFE Universiti Utara Malaysia!~ wohoooo!~~ =D I am so proud with my team, all of them!~ my presenters, even tho playful but able to handle the pressure.. hey, first times are meant to be scary, but my presenters pulled through, proud of you guys! ^^ and OMG, my advisors, my conductor, my supporters, the alumnis, helped us the presenters with their warm and encouraging smiles! you guys are the BEST!!~ and not to forget, my technical wizards, the slides were awesome, made things clearer for everyone, am really proud!

in whole, as the president of SIFE UUM, I cannot measure the level of proud I felt when people congratulated me for the team this year.. I believe, SIFE UUM could not be the way it is without the support from everyone, as it is a team effort, not mine alone.. so hear me now, SIFE UUM, I'm here because of YOU, I'm who I am because of YOU, I made a change because of YOU.. I am PROUD TO BE A UUM SIFER... my love is for you, and SIFE UUM is my family!~ I LOVE YOU GUYS TO BITS AND PIECES!~ FOREVER AND ALWAYS.....

There's a first time for everything - photoshoot

Assalamualaikum and hellowww Earthlings!.. wohoooo!~ =D yes2, I know what time it is, don't ask why I'm so hyper.. and nooooooo, I did not eat chocolates this late in the night to get sugar rush ftw.. hahaha..

back to the reason of this post..I was invited by a friend for a photoshoot a few days back.. it was somewhat out of the blue and short notice so I wasn't really fully prepared, hence the weird dress choice ftw.. (=_=;; so anyway, I'm not a professional model by far, not even close to an amateur model, I'm the suka suki model lah.. haha.. so this is my actually first time involved in a photoshoot by a professional photographer, BEN | Photography.. I really have no idea how to pose and my friend was like, "just be yourself and do any pose.. I'm just here to capture it.." I was like, "what?" LOL.. super effin blur.. hahaha.. but he did give me pointers as to how to stand, which leg goes in front, lean my body on which side, etc. so that was cool for a super duper noob like me.. LOL~

I was just there to try and experience the life of a model, not near enough to amateur.. but hey, like my title said, there's a first time to everything.. I had fun in the photoshoot and my friend is a really great photographer and all the pictures turned out great, despite my epic failed pose ftw.. hahaha.. and believe me, being a model, it's not as easy as it seems.. the different poses you have to think up of, the cameras you have to act in front of (I had 2 photographers with me), the people watching you, the sweat (lots of tissues required ftw!), the expectations, the dirt.. hahaha.. yeah, it's harder than it seems but it was fun.. you guys should give it a try, like, seriously!.. ^^ err, but don't follow me, I think I suck as a model.. hahaha

yeah, DON'T do that.. and to answer the title of my blog post, NO, I'm not yet free, still have to complete 1 last assignment for this semester, then busy with another SIFE UUM project.. then it's FINAL EXAMS woot woot!~ bring out the hot chocolate drinks and insufficient sleep please! XD

sorry for the absence, I've been super duper extremely busy.. and I'm still currently busy, but felt the sudden urge to blog.. haha.. had quite a lot of activities since the last time I blogged.. first and foremost, I got myself a new freaking-super-awesome-yet-sometimes-annoying phone! up top babeh! XD

woot woot!~ it cost me a fortune, but I guess it was a good investment.. my mum wasn't too thrilled with it tho, since I could have used the money and deposited it in an account and let it give birth to more money or something.. but, oh well, it's too late to regret it now.. it's an Android weih, super epic! Froyo 2.2 and the camera is 8 mega-pixels with HD video ftw! imagine all the camewhoring I did with this babeh! LOL the most expensive item I ever bought for myself.. yosh!

anyway, up to the updates happening till now.. I greeted 2 ministers and even rode in a bus from KL to Temerloh with one of em, met foreigners from America and UK, sat at the same table with some top notch CEOs of big companies, celebrated my birthday, attended 2 grand dinner with nice dresses, and got fat again.. yeah, that's pretty much it.. all the while, trying to balance the busy life of a SIFEr in UUM as well as a regular student.. I would like to see you try doing it, it's a lot harder than it looks! don't believe me?.. ask my neglected blog ftw! XD

Assalamualaikum and hello fellow blog readers!

today has not been a great day.. I'm quite stressed and due to my stress, I have become moody and grumpy this whole day.. things that I wanted to get accomplished had to wait on the sidewalk, while I steer my car around the curb.. it really is stressful, and my mood is not making it any easier to cope with..

my friends have noticed the absence of a smile on my lips, or the twinkle that I usually have in my eyes, or the fact that I don't talk much today.. and yeah, that's what happens every time when I'm not in the mood.. you'll always see me with a smile, but you'll rarely see me with a frown..I guess today is your lucky day.. but I doubt it has anything to do with the time of the month.. I think I'm just going through a hard time of the day or something.. sighhhh~~

whatever it is, I have to put a strong front.. I'm a leader, and people look up to me for guidance and support.. I have to be a good role model for others as others have been a good role model to me too.. I can't get emotional over things that are petty or seem unimportant.. but alas, I am only a human.. and I do have feelings that I sometimes feel like it is being disregarded.. sighhh, ya Allah, give me strength.. (=__=;;

so yeah, I'm in class now, updating my blog.. just a place to vent out a little.. no worries, my lecturer is doing discussion, so he's okay with my going online and updating my blog.. errr, but I didn't ask him la.. hehehehe..

Assalamualaikum and hello fellow blog readers..

this is a rather solemn post, for my university, UUM, is currently mourning the loss of two hospitality students who died in a car accident last Monday morning.. the horrifying accident happened not far from UUM's main gate, near the junction towards EDC Hotel at 7am in the morning..

7am, most of the people in Malaysia is still in bed, or is getting ready to go to work, making breakfast for the kids or rushing out the door to clock in for the day.. and during all this hustle and bustle of life, two Chinese students had their last breathe of air, as their souls leave their bodies forever.. how fragile is the human life?.. the answer is very fragile..

I don't want to go into details as to how the accident happened, as there were many speculations from many different people.. I also don't want to reveal to you the two Chinese students who died in the accident, as I am not a friend of either girls and I have no right to do so.. but feel free to search on the world wide web to find out about the accident..

my heart goes out to the family of the two girls.. rest in peace my friends.. I might not have known you, but I feel like I'm connected to you.. I might have passed by next to you on my way to class, or stand behind you in line to buy food at lego cafe, or sat on the table in front of you at the library, I wouldn't know, but I want to thank you, for being a part of my university life.. your presence is felt by all your friends in UUM, so thank you for the memories.. =') Rest In Peace..

reminder to everyone else, don't let this happen to you.. ='(

what I can say is, as an advice to those who drive any type of car or vehicle, manual or automatic or semi or whatever la, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN DRIVING.. life is full of risks, and driving out to buy nasi lemak is also a risk.. so please, please please please be careful ya darlings?.. I really don't want anything bad to happen to you.. ='(

they say life is short, so live life to the fullest.. they say living is hard but dying is easy, so don't take any chances.. be careful and carefree.. take calculated risks, don't dive head first into anything without assessing the perimeter.. YOU can make a difference..

the easiest way to make a girl happy

okay, don't ask me why I'm all psyched, coz I wouldn't know.. it hasn't been a happy week, it's been hectic and all over the place.. with SIFE, assignments, mid term tests, group projects and discussions while trying to have a normal life is kinda hard to handle at once.. but I'll get through it, insyaAllah.. (^^,)

so back to the topic.. there's actually lots of ways to make a girl happy, but in my opinion, the BEST and EASIEST way is by treating her to her favourite foods.. let's say she loves eating Big Apple doughnuts, or McD, or maybe the local restaurant near your place, all you need to do to make her happy is to spend some time of your day and bring her to the place where her favourite food is located.. easy kan?.. =)

let's say your friend loves Pizzahut, and the nearest Pizzahut is 45km away, 40 minutes travel by car.. so plan a date with your friend (or better yet, surprise her) with a day out, just the two of you.. bring her to the nearest shopping mall first, or catch a movie that she's been dying to see.. don't feed her yet, let her spend her energy walking around in the shopping mall.. she can buy anything, as long as it's her own money la.. but if you want to make her extra happy, you can pay for her purchases too.. hehehe.. so once she's tired, you say, let's go home.. if she says she's hungry, tell her that you don't have time to eat coz you need to complete an errand.. well, technically you do have an errand, which is to surprise her with Pizzahut ftw!.. =D

so get in the car and start driving home.. she might be a little disappointed at first and might not want to talk to you, so be prepared for a whole lot of sulking ya.. you know how emotional we women are.. =) as you're nearing the location of Pizzahut, pretend you're suddenly really hungry and you need to eat something if not you'll die ftw.. and then discreetly mention the name of Pizzahut in the list of places you would like to stop by for a bite or two.. do this while looking at her face, okay?.. you'll see magic in the making.. hehehe.. instantly, you'll see her whole face light up and her eyes sparkle with joy and anticipation.. she'll think you're the best friend or boy friend ever.. she'll love you for it! see, I told you it's the easiest way to make a girl happy..

so what are you waiting for?.. go and make this girl below happy by taking and treating her to her favourite foods at Pizzahut! (^^,)

my first vlogging attempt.. I'm such a NOOB!

for those who still worry about my horse riding injury, fear not, I have 90% recovered! and it's not coz of the medicines, I wasn't really eating those, they are DRUGS ftw! haha.. okay, sorry, I'm not gonna brainwash you into not eating your medicines, they're good for you (sort of).. hehe.. but I did go to the clinic and had my leg and hip x-rayed.. the doc said I was fine, no broken bones and no fractures, Alhamdulillah.. she did remind me to be careful the next time I go horse riding tho, which I would obviously do.. note to self, falling off a speeding horse is NOT FUN, DO NOT REPEAT.. okay, that piece of information has been stored in my brain.. =D

so back to the tittle of this post.. I have been snooping around blogs and also youtube, which led me to the discovery of two awesome people, Maria Elena and Anwar Hadi.. they are not your ordinary famous people (ie on magazines or tv n stuff) but they are famous in the world of YouTube and vlogging!.. wohoooo!~ in case you're going about in your head asking, "who the hell are they??", do check out their videos below.. horse meat in McD?!

Assalamualaikum & greetings awesome peeps!

it's raining outside and I'm cold, yet the ceiling fan is still spinning.. guess I should go switch it off huh?.. well, that would mean I'd have to pick my butt up from this comfortable place on the floor, and I'm super lazy to do that.. emmmm.. haaaaa, I'll ask my sis to do it for me!.. ain't I the best sister evah?.. =D

I've been in KL since 9th until 22nd December, and during that time I have added 2kg to my weight!.. FTW right?.. sighhhhhh~ I've been super active in KL, going places, riding LRTs, climbing mountains(I mean stairs ftw), walking aimlessly in shopping malls, and a whole lot more stuff I didn't even mention here.. common sense, I'd be loosing weight right?.. but noooooooooo, I had to add the 2kgs, pfffttttt!~ and thanks to places like McDonalds, I visited 4 or 5 different branches in KL alone!...

so what to do if you feel fat?.. go to the beach and ride a horse!..

smart kan?.. hehehe.. okay, fine, I haven't been horse riding since November, but on my 1 day trip to Malacca on 20th Dec, my friend took me to Klebang beach!.. no worries, I didn't strip naked so no one got nightmares ftw! XD and lull and behold, a horse!.. hahaha.. I have to pay 5bucks to ride la, but they let me control the horse by myself coz I told em I'm a rider for UUM Equine Club.. so it was kinda cool to be riding a completely strange horse that I never met before.. haha.. =p

I'd love to share with you guys what I did in KL and where I went, but time is super jealous of me.. curse you time ftw! I'll try to update whenever I can ya, so don't miss me too much, you might fall for me.. haha.. if you're a girl, you can miss me all you want.. then if we meet, I'll give you hugs and kisses!.. haha.. we can also hang out at this awesome looking house!

anyway, I'll be super busy next year(ah, mengalahkan menteri busy kau), starting from 1st January.. will be hanging around KL again from 1st till 5th, then off to Pangkor Island from 7th till 9th for SIFE Regional Training and spending the days from 11th till 14th at Pendang Lake Resort for more training.. semester starts on 15th January, classes start on 17th.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!.. hahaha.. I'm so looking forward to a jam packed year, 2011, so bring it on! \(^o^)/

as an ending note, if you see this guy below, bash him on the head and tell him his friend, the ever awesome Najmie Kamisan, misses him.. hahaha.. get your butt back to Malaysia soon Tommy! (^^,)

reunions can warm the soul

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome blog readers!.. welcome to my humble yet totally cool blog.. hoho.. as the title shows, this blog is about my great life, so don't go around searching about things that don't related to meh blog okeh?.. eh, ok that's a bit rude.. haha, sorry bout that, blame them hormones.. lol!~

anyway, I'm gonna share with you awesome people about my recent high school reunion.. okay, it's not really recent, it happened in September this year, but I just got the time to update about it now.. mianhae... (TT3TT)

see, I have graduated from highschool in 2005, and haven't met most of my friends since then.. so a friend of mine planned for a small reunion among my 2001-2005 batch on the 4th day of raya, 13th Sept at Jitra KFC.. and away we go!!~~ =D

meet the early reunion people!.. I don't really talk to most of them during my schooling years, but you know how it is during reunions, everyone suddenly become best friends ftw!.. hahaha.. EPIC!

see the girl in chocolate at the end there?.. during my schooling time, quite a lot of people mistook me as her and her as me.. they say we look alike, and even her admirer once thought I was her.. hahahahaha.. that was funny when you think about it.. lol!~ the dude didn't come to the reunion tho if not I'd show you his picture.. oh well.. =P

eh look, more people!.. it started with only 10 people, then blossomed into 40++ people.. how awesome is that right?.. the initial people who agreed to come were only around 30 but more came, so YAY!.. everyone was happy and wanted another reunion at the end of next year, but to make it SUPER AWESOME AND EPIC, so everyone who came has to put particulars so they can be contacted regarding the future reunion..

see the 2 dudes on the right?.. their table sits 4 dudes, and they keep looking at me, directly and then smiled and sniggered among themselves.. what deeeee right?.. and after they look at me, they eat for like 5 minutes, then went back to gawking.. and I'm not the only one who noticed it, coz my friend pointed them out to me, so I'm not the one who perasan okeh?.. but it's damn annoying.. pftttt..

the gal who planned it all, Aishah.. I don't think I have ever talked to her during high school coz we were in different courses, but during the reunion, we were the best of friends.. hahaha.. =P

and yes, sadly, since I was the one who took everyone else's pictures, my face had to be self taken.. no one wanted to help take my picture, so sad.. (TT3TT)

eh look, more people!.. errr, but I forgot more than half of their names, I just remember their faces.. hahahaha.. sorry guys, I suck in remembering names.. =P

oh oh, I want you guys to meet this dude.. I had a crush on him when I was in form 3, I think.. but then he didn't like me, I was rejected (omg sedih! (T^T)) but hey, I got over it!.. hahaha.. meet my ex-crush, Faizan Naim..

damn, I hope my friends don't use this piece of old information over me.. (-__-;;

so what do people do during reunions?.. err, I don't know, talk?.. so that's what we did.. catching up with friends whereabouts, exchanging numbers, asking to open houses.. it was awesome.. we concurred that we all miss our time in high school, and that reunions like this is a must at least every 2 years..
