Assalamualaikum and hello awesome peeps!

it's been almost a month since I've became a wife and Alhamdulillah, everything is great! I've already moved into my husband's place in Puchong and I'm doing my best to turn the house into a home.. there's still a lot of work to be done tho but I'm sure everything will be just fine, insyaAllah.. :)

first and foremost I would like to thank my family members and my relatives for helping out with the wedding preparations and also on the wedding day itself, to my mum for helping me on the financial side (I just started working, not much money to go by yet), to my friends who came to the wedding reception in Kedah and in Perak thank you, to my husband's family and relatives thank you for accepting me into your big and fun family, and not forgetting, to my husband and best friend, Khairul Anwar, thank you for loving me and never giving up on me. I love you and may our love lasts till jannah, insyaAllah.. I will do my best to be the wife you want me to be.. :)

so on to photos! =D some of you might know that the akad and reception is for me and my older sister, Intan.. don't be fooled by her height, she's old-er than me.. hahaha.. she had gotten engaged last year in February while my engagement which was kinda short notice muehehe (hey, who knew I would have fallen in love with my best friend, right?) on June last year.. it came as a surprise to everyone actually coz I was not in any relationship at that time and everyone was freakishly curious as to who my fiancée was.. hahaha.. well now you know! =D

the night out

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome peeps!

so last night I went out with some friends for dinner.. it wasn't planned, I was kinda kidnapped by a friend of mine and was made to go to the dinner.. LOL.. well, in her defense, she just informed me of the dinner which I kindly decline as I wanted to go home and watch episodes of How I Met Your Mother I recently downloaded.. okay, I needed an actual social life, obviously.. so anyway, when she told me about the dinner, I straight away took out my wedding cards and scribbled down their names and asked her to pass em all to them.. she grumbled for a bit, but accepted the cards anyway.. 

so the story of how I got kidnapped is a different thing.. well see, my friend offered to send me to the LRT station and I was thrilled.. I don't have to walk all the way to Paradigm Mall to get the free shuttle bus (why waste RM1 on regular bus when free shuttle bus is available right?) and I was as happy as a clam!~ ^_^ so in the car, my friend still tried to persuade me to go to the dinner.. she even called another one of my friend to try to convince me.. awww, don't they love me? hehehehe.. I mean, I am tempted, but being someone who's about to get married, I kinda need to practice on being a good wife.. so what I did was I called my fiancee and told him about the dinner plans.. being the awesome fiancee ever, he allowed, YAY!~ 

so the dinner wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed a night out with them.. we went to Tropicana City shopping mall and ate at Papa John's.. there were 7 of us; Didi, Julie, Fareez, Naz, Irsyad, Ali and myself.. we ordered the Pizza set for 6 people and Julie added a spaghetti.. we were having fun and making lame jokes and pretty much just bonding stuff la.. we were so loud that the Chinese family sitting at the table next to as were glancing every time someone started laughing insanely loud, and usually it was the boys (fareez and irsyad LOL) and the other awesome part was that the dinner was on Naz.. he offered to pay for everything which was a very generous thing to do.. awwww, thanks Naz! ^_^

so anyway, the dinner was a great time to hand them their wedding invitation cards.. and me being me, I wrote down their names with different tittles.. they were all so excited and started making jokes and comparing who was the best and stuff (yes I have weird friends).. 

so basically what I did was circle different tittles such as Tan Seri, Dato' or Y.B and write their names on the dotted line.. it was really a spur of the moment thing when I scribbled them down, I didn't think they were gonna make so much fuss about it later on.. hahaha.. the names were given out as below..

hahahaha, I laughed so hard when he asked me that.. but sorry bro, that was what popped out in my head at that time.. but Fareez and Irsyad were excited and kept going on and on about their names so it was fun to watch.. at least they loved it.. plus they were all making plans of driving down for the wedding too.. all in all, I had a great time and they sent me home afterwards around 10pm..

so what I wanna say is probably is thank you Didi, for kidnapping me.. =)

I just want to wish to everyone a Happy New Year and I hope you're able to achieve your new years resolution.. a friend of mine posted on Facebook, "what's so great about next year, it's just a reminder that I'm closer to my death".. well, she is right, but I also believe that 2013 will be a great year, mostly it means I can finish what I've set to achieve before, better myself and my soft skills, get more knowledge, and just live.. hey, it might just be another number to some people, but to me, it means I still have a chance to correct my wrong-doings, apologize to the people I did wrong to, and to continue living, as a wife to my best friend.. hehehehe.. yes yes, I'm gonna get sappy now, coz in 28 days, I'm going to be married! ya Allah, is this really happening?  =O

so I know what you're thinking, a wishlist for wedding presents? is she really that desperate? pffftt, what a lame! (okay2, please don't think of me like that) before you judge me, hear me out! grrrr..I was chatting with a friend of mine on Facebook and asked him to come to my wedding ceremony in Kedah.. our conversation went something like this..

me : dude, you HAVE to come to my wedding in February, you just gotta!

him : I'll think about it, where's your ceremony again?

me : Jitra, Kedah.. it ain't that far, it's only in Malaysia.. LOL

him : dude that's lame.. (-__-;; okay fine, I'll come.. so what do u want as a wedding present?

me : a BMW car, but we both know that's not gonna happen.. hahaha.. you can get me anything

him : be specific please, I do't want to give you something useless.. you got to give me a wedding wishlist or something..

me : a wishlist? serious? I've never heard of anyone having a wedding wishlist before..

him : just do it, then give em to me later, I got to go now.. chat later

me : okay, see ya

so ya, this wedding wishlist is for you! you better get me something from this list or I'm not giving you a slice of my wedding cake! LOL.. but in all seriousness, this wedding wishlist is a really good idea.. it serves as a guide to guests on what to get for the bride & groom for their wedding.. I wished my friends who got married previously would have given me a list so I could just buy 1 stuff from the list as my present.. it would seriously make it a lot easier for me, seriously.. but ya, here's my wishlist, things I would like to have around the house that would make me happier once I turn from a Ms. to a Mrs.. in 28 days! OMG!

1) Garment Steamer

I have always hated ironing clothes (coz I'm not ironman hahaha lame joke) so I would seriously appreciate it if someone gave this as a present.. it would help me a lot coz I would be doing ironing for my hubby soon too, A LOT of ironing.. oh the joy.. (-___-;;

2) Tefal sandwich toaster

I'm not a heavy breakfast eater and so is my future husband.. so this toaster would make it easier for me to make toast (hahaha lame joke captain obvious) in the morning before dashing off for work.. 

3) Electric Water Boiler

I like to drink hot milo sometimes and dunk some crackers with the milo and eat it as a snack so having a water boiler would be awesome. it'd be easier for me to make nescafe or tea for my hubby in the afternoon too.. 

4) Vacuum Cleaner

well, lest's be honest, this would seriously help with the house cleaning and I'd love to have a small compact one.. not much of a fan for big bulky ones..

5) Bedside Table Lamps

my future husband and I love to read books.. we bought a whole lot of books last time during Big Bad Wolf Booksale at Mines Convention Center.. we normally read at night so bedside table lamps would be awesome! and romantic too *ehem*

6) Air Purifier

after a long day at work, I'd love to come home to a sweet scent of the purified air.. it would do lots in making the house more livable as it is actually quite near to a sewage processing plant.. eh, not my current house, my future husbands house.. he warned me beforehand, so I won't die when I move in.. so help me by giving me this gift please..

7) A Knife Set

see, I like to be in the kitchen and I like to experiment and cook.. and I like to cut things.. I might not be skilled with the knife but at least with a knife set I know I have the perfect knife to cut my veggies, fish and meat and make my husbands tummy happy.. ^_^

8) Blender

so I've been watching and helping my mum in the kitchen and the blender is a tool that has been helping her cut down her cooking time.. it's seriously a must have in a kitchen, especially for busy people with jobs.. so I would really appreciate it if someone gave me one.. :)

9) Microwave Oven

I know this is kinda expensive and I'm not really sure if anyone would be generous enough to buy me this anyway.. but it is in my wishlist as it provides convenience for busy working people to eat healthy meals.. and no, microwave ovens are not only for junk food purposes, you can cook a lot of dishes with this oven.. 

10) Cookware Set

okay, I'm starting to see that most items on my wishlist has lots to do with the kitchen.. hmmm.. anyway, yeah, how am I suppose to cook if I have no pots and pans right? so this kind of presents are the best to have, especially to a new couple moving into a previously single persons house.. this is essential and would be the best present ever!

okay, so those are the things I think would help me as a Mrs. after the wedding that would benefit both me and my future husband.. there are some more that I haven't included in here coz I think it's too expensive and no one in their right mind would buy them for me, so yeah.. buttttttttt... I kinda have this 2 items that I wanna have personally.. not really meant to be shared much but I'd love you to death if you bought me these two items..

11) Nike + Fuelband

this is an awesome gadget that would help me calculate my steps, how much calories I burn and how much more I need to lose to achieve my daily goal.. and it also doubles as a watch.. it is super duper awesome and I seriously would love to have this item.. like seriously! ^^ it would totally help me to reduce my weight and keep fit..

12) A Yoga Mat

okay fine, this thing isn't really hard to find, but it's hard to find for me.. I don't really have time to go mat shopping and honestly speaking, I've been wanting this mat since 2 years ago.. not really for yoga, but more for exercise that needs me to lie down.. so yeah..

so there you have it, my wedding wishlist.. I'm not sure if you'd want to buy me anything from the list or buy me anything at all period, but at least I've given you a list to work with.. but honestly speaking, whatever you give me, I'd accept with an open heart and a sincere thank you.. I'm not that picky anyway, so why start now?.. =) and I would just be honoured to have you at my wedding, the presents is just a bonus.. your presence at my ceremony is what is important, to celebrate my happy day..

in the midst of madness

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome peeps!

I don't really know the exact purpose of this post, probably just for me to find and outlet to vent.. so yeah, new year.. 2013.. it will be an epic year for me, the changing of status from single to married.. I guess I haven't thought about it much before, but now it's getting so close (30 days and counting), I'm starting to feel..... worried.. there's a lot of things that aren't competed yet, hantaran, wedding invitations, dress fitting, and God knows what else..

the preparations aren't fully done by me.. my mum, cousins and my sister help plan and execute a majority of the wedding arrangements, (and thet've been doing a very good job, trust me) I would help out a bit when I am back in Kedah.. coz I'm now working in KL, so I'm not able to help much.. but before I started work in December, I did manage to do a lot of stuff la, not saying I ignored the preparations completely.. sometimes I feel bad about it but there isn't much I could do from afar.. I just hope everything would be done in time, with only a month away, I'm starting to feel light headed..

you know how people say once you're close to the wedding day you tend to get cold feet? and that you might cancel the wedding and refuse to marry on the day itself? well, I for one know I'm NOT going to do that, but I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not scared.. the responsibilities I would need to carry once I'm a wife is a lot.. I know I can do it Insya Allah, but would I be good at it? would I be good in taking care of my husbands clothes, food and other necessities? perform my duties as the perfect wife? I like to cook, but I hate doing the dishes, especially with clogged sinks.. and I despise doing laundry and ironing, I usually get my mum or sisters to do them for me.. LOL.. and the whole sharing your whole life with someone - living in the same house, breathing the same air, having someone next to you when you open your eyes in the morning - oh my, that is scary yet wonderful at the same time..  :)

so yeah, here I am in the midst of the madness of getting married, the tasks I have to complete at work, and the thoughts of life after marriage, looming in my head.. the pressure is on, but I'm not sure with whom I share this pressure with..

stalkers??

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome blog readers!.. wassups?.. I just finished eating dinner and now happily in front of the tv watching Fairly Legal on DIVA Universal.. it's an awesome show, btw, one of my favs.. coz, well, when I was younger, I aspired to be a lawyer.. true, Kate Reed is not a lawyer in that story, but she once was.. her job as a mediator is kinda cool too, and I love her super high confidence level and sense of humour!.. *admiration* (^^,) when I told my mum I wanted to be a lawyer, she said, 'find another profession..' so yeah, here I am in UUM, taking Bachelor of Entrepreneurship for 4 years.. (-__-;; but I still find law people fascinating, and have high brain capacity to memorize all the laws and sections.. you guys rock! =D

so anyway, on 29th May, one of my best friend my age from high school got married, so I went to her wedding in Jitra.. she and her younger sister got married on the same day so it's a 2 bride wedding.. the reception was quite grand and all, with silat show and even a DJ.. the 'pelamin' was set beautifully with great lighting and nicely made bedroom decor.. being a big wedding and all, they hired photographers and videographers to capture their happiness, you know, if that was even possible.. haha..

now you might wonder, what does this have to do with stalkers?.. wait haa, I'm coming to that.. huahuahua.. I arrived to her house around 2pm, there was a silat performance and the brides and bridegrooms were there eating at 'makan beradab'.. so of course there were many people who crowded the place to watch the performance, as well as the hired photographers.. when I walked up the driveway in my heels, I saw one of the photographer there with his big D90 shooting away, and for a glimpse second, I saw him look at me.. minding my own business, I walked around and said hi to my friend..

I never actually saw the photographer much after that, but apparently he stalked me and snap pictures.. see em to believe em! =D

I just got there, this is the first stalker photo from the photographer, Mr Ben.. I think I was trying to find my friend at this time..

then when my friend was on the pelamin, I was there to snap pictures of em, and he snapped pictures on me.. hahaha.. talk about stalking.. ^^

after a while, a girl will notice when the camera is pointed at her, so did I..

I was watching the bride greeting her friends and family who came to the wedding, and he snapped this stalker mode photo.. my cheeks are super chubby.. sigh~

so after that, I just posed for the camera and made friends with Mr Ben, hence why I have a copy of these pictures to share with you.. haha! =D

and don't have weird thoughts, this is in my friends bedroom, and they were doing a photoshoot with the photog.. I was just there to bother them and the photog ended up capturing this photo of me while they were taking a break.. hahaha..

all in all, having a stalker who is a professional photographers isn't that bad.. but I wouldn't say the same for other stalkers tho.. did you know that Facebook is the No. 1 place where stalkers hang and dish the dirt about you?.. so my advise, don't reveal too much, friends can turn into enemies, and when that happen, it's not going to be pretty as all your secrets can come out.. so, be careful on Facebook ya pretty peeps?.. ^^

pandas are decreasing.. here's what you should do to help increase awareness..

wear a panda hat on your head and act as cute as possible, as it will raise awareness for the decreasing number of pandas around the world..

how?..

cause people on the road will look at you twice when you pass by..

eh look, a girl wearing a panda hat while driving a car, that's weird..

omg, the panda is so cute!!

see, I have now raised awareness for the cute endangered pandas..

thanks to my sister, Khadijah who bought the panda hat when she was in Beijing, China with her husband..

the panda is so cute and fuzzy, you just want to cuddle it and never let go, kan?..

but the panda she saw was asleep as it was noon when she was there..

didn't do much really, but was still nice to watch I'm sure..

Beijing looks really fun, I'd like to go there one day..

hehehe..

regarding the panda hat, we, the sisters always end up fighting over the hat to see who gets to wear it.. childish, but inevitable..

anyway, the pictures (except Kak Ijahs picture) were taken on our way to my cousins akad nikah in Kulim on Thursday.. I didn't go to work that day, and also on Wednesday.. went to Putrajaya and KL to Nuffnang HQ (will make a new blogpost about the experience soon) and also to pick up the rest of my family stranded there, Intan, Aini, Kak Ijah and her hubby Abg Hafiz for the wedding the next day..

long story short, we had a great time, while tiring our butts off in the journey from KL to Sintok Kedah, and Sintok to Kulim the next day..

I was driving on the first part, and truth be told, I was soooooooo tired and sleepy..

good thing we didn't crash, Alhamdulillah..

the wedding went well though..

first update..

my sister's wedding on the grooms side was held on 29 December 2008 at Bangunan Tabung Haji in Ampang, KL..



we had a great time there, and the event was beautiful..
my sister and her husband really looked like king and queen that night..
i even got some pictures to share with you..
