There's a first time for everything - photoshoot

Assalamualaikum and hellowww Earthlings!.. wohoooo!~ =D yes2, I know what time it is, don't ask why I'm so hyper.. and nooooooo, I did not eat chocolates this late in the night to get sugar rush ftw.. hahaha..

back to the reason of this post..I was invited by a friend for a photoshoot a few days back.. it was somewhat out of the blue and short notice so I wasn't really fully prepared, hence the weird dress choice ftw.. (=_=;; so anyway, I'm not a professional model by far, not even close to an amateur model, I'm the suka suki model lah.. haha.. so this is my actually first time involved in a photoshoot by a professional photographer, BEN | Photography.. I really have no idea how to pose and my friend was like, "just be yourself and do any pose.. I'm just here to capture it.." I was like, "what?" LOL.. super effin blur.. hahaha.. but he did give me pointers as to how to stand, which leg goes in front, lean my body on which side, etc. so that was cool for a super duper noob like me.. LOL~

so without further ado, here are some pictures of my epic failed attempt to be a model, uploaded by my friend, Mr Ben!.. wheee!~ =D don't burn your eyes tho, viewer discretion is advised.. in case of emergency, please have a bucket next to you as I am not responsible for any vomiting on your part ftw.. hahaha.. =P

anyway.....

all pictures belongs to my friend, Mr Ben and his company.. I was just there to try and experience the life of a model, not near enough to amateur.. but hey, like my title said, there's a first time to everything.. I had fun in the photoshoot and my friend is a really great photographer and all the pictures turned out great, despite my epic failed pose ftw.. hahaha.. and believe me, being a model, it's not as easy as it seems.. the different poses you have to think up of, the cameras you have to act in front of (I had 2 photographers with me), the people watching you, the sweat (lots of tissues required ftw!), the expectations, the dirt.. hahaha.. yeah, it's harder than it seems but it was fun.. you guys should give it a try, like, seriously!.. ^^ err, but don't follow me, I think I suck as a model.. hahaha

stalkers??

Assalamualaikum and hello awesome blog readers!.. wassups?.. I just finished eating dinner and now happily in front of the tv watching Fairly Legal on DIVA Universal.. it's an awesome show, btw, one of my favs.. coz, well, when I was younger, I aspired to be a lawyer.. true, Kate Reed is not a lawyer in that story, but she once was.. her job as a mediator is kinda cool too, and I love her super high confidence level and sense of humour!.. *admiration* (^^,) when I told my mum I wanted to be a lawyer, she said, 'find another profession..' so yeah, here I am in UUM, taking Bachelor of Entrepreneurship for 4 years.. (-__-;; but I still find law people fascinating, and have high brain capacity to memorize all the laws and sections.. you guys rock! =D

so anyway, on 29th May, one of my best friend my age from high school got married, so I went to her wedding in Jitra.. she and her younger sister got married on the same day so it's a 2 bride wedding.. the reception was quite grand and all, with silat show and even a DJ.. the 'pelamin' was set beautifully with great lighting and nicely made bedroom decor.. being a big wedding and all, they hired photographers and videographers to capture their happiness, you know, if that was even possible.. haha..

now you might wonder, what does this have to do with stalkers?.. wait haa, I'm coming to that.. huahuahua.. I arrived to her house around 2pm, there was a silat performance and the brides and bridegrooms were there eating at 'makan beradab'.. so of course there were many people who crowded the place to watch the performance, as well as the hired photographers.. when I walked up the driveway in my heels, I saw one of the photographer there with his big D90 shooting away, and for a glimpse second, I saw him look at me.. minding my own business, I walked around and said hi to my friend..

I never actually saw the photographer much after that, but apparently he stalked me and snap pictures.. see em to believe em! =D

I just got there, this is the first stalker photo from the photographer, Mr Ben.. I think I was trying to find my friend at this time..

then when my friend was on the pelamin, I was there to snap pictures of em, and he snapped pictures on me.. hahaha.. talk about stalking.. ^^

after a while, a girl will notice when the camera is pointed at her, so did I..

I was watching the bride greeting her friends and family who came to the wedding, and he snapped this stalker mode photo.. my cheeks are super chubby.. sigh~

so after that, I just posed for the camera and made friends with Mr Ben, hence why I have a copy of these pictures to share with you.. haha! =D

and don't have weird thoughts, this is in my friends bedroom, and they were doing a photoshoot with the photog.. I was just there to bother them and the photog ended up capturing this photo of me while they were taking a break.. hahaha..

all in all, having a stalker who is a professional photographers isn't that bad.. but I wouldn't say the same for other stalkers tho.. did you know that Facebook is the No. 1 place where stalkers hang and dish the dirt about you?.. so my advise, don't reveal too much, friends can turn into enemies, and when that happen, it's not going to be pretty as all your secrets can come out.. so, be careful on Facebook ya pretty peeps?.. ^^

Assalamualaikum and good evening dear peeps.. first and foremost, I would like to wish all the Muslims out there, Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadan and Happy Fasting!.. *(^^,) I know it's quite late to be wishing, since today is actually the 5th day of Ramadan, but heck, we have 25 more days to go!.. so who cares right?.. (^^,) and I'd also like to give a quick shout out to my Chinese friend, Yu Yinhui, for attempting to fast and actually fasted for 1 whole day!.. CONGRATULATIONS YINHUI!..

I'm pretty much sure you guys are bored with this excuse, but really, I'm really truly sorry, I have been really busy and was unable to update my blog.. been busy with student life, being a SIFEr, being a daughter, and being a friend.. fuhh, so tiring, but I enjoyed every bit of it!.. =)

ugh, talking about puke, I nearly lost my 3rd day of fasting due to an outreach programme under SIFE UUM.. long story short, I nearly vomited from the bad smell of 3 week old fish gravy covered with maggots and worms.. yuck! (>w<) the family that we helped were old people living alone in a secluded area and was recently attacked with food poisoning.. when we saw the kitchen, we knew why, hence the outreach programme..

and due to this project, I am now suffering from slight flu and fever, coughing, sore throat, a runny nose and a backache due to extensive cleaning and exposure to polluted air.. so yeah.. I'm sick.. I didn't go to class for the whole day.. but I did go to the clinic and got myself a medical leave for today.. hope I recover fast.. uhukuhuk~

pray for my health ya awesome peeps!.. and you guys should also take care of yourself.. it's the flu season, so drink lots of water during sahur and bathe in cool water before 5pm.. Insyaallah you'll be fine..

alright, I'm off.. got to get ready to give a team briefing tonight to people who want to be RM1000 richer from SIFE UUM Exposition 2010.. oh, and also breaking my fast, or Iftaar with my fellow SIFErs and committee members.. so, LATER AWESOME PEEPS~~ (^^,)

the battle has ended

assalamualaikum and good evening everyone.. sighhh... it's done, it's over.. the battle has finally ended.. wondering what battle I'm talking about?.. the Me And My City Contest voting period.. it has ended a few minutes ago.. how did I do?.. well, I didn't make the top 5, so there is probably no chance of me winning the trip to New York.. currently in 9th place from 49.. I'm a little bit disappointed, but I'll manage.. stay positive, there must be a reason why I didn't get it, right?.. even though I wanted it so so bad, but I'm okay that I didn't get it.. really.. (^^,)

this whole experience of getting people to vote for me in a contest had opened my eyes to something and taught me something too.. some friends you thought have your back, who you thought we be right by you through thick or thin, don't support you sometimes.. and those you don't even know that well, who you'd just give a smile when you walk by, lend their hands better than the so called best friends.. ironic isn't it?.. hey, you live you learn, right?..

I started the quest for votes with 9, and ended with 54 votes.. thank you so so much to those who helped, especially slashadie safar, ahmad fikri, vera lam, and my family members for registering more than 1 email account.. not forgetting my mum and sisters for tolerating my obsession for the votes.. hehehe.. and a special thanks also goes out to Slashadie and Kerol for the emotional support.. and everyone else who I didn't mention but voted for me, bloggers, Facebook friends, Sifers, friends, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.. now I truly know who my friends are.. again, thank you.. kawan-kawan yang 'best'..

assalamualaikum semua, selamat malam, tapi jangan kau tido pulak lepas aku ucap selamat malam nih.. belum masanya untuk kau tido, malam masih muda.. dengar bebelan aku dulu, boleh?.. aku nak luahkan perasaan nih.. hurm..

aku rasa majority korang dah baca tentang contest yang aku masuk kat entri di bawah nih.. ramai yang tau betapa aku nak sangat menang, aku nak sangat bawak mak aku pegi melancong, pegi New York.. aku nak sangat sangat sangat sangat..

kalau kau Facebook friend aku, mesti dah bosan tahap gaban tengok status aku, yang asyik mintak orang vote untuk aku dalam contest tu.. sampai boleh dikatakan merayu lah, mintak pertolongan rakan-rakan dan sahabat aku tolong vote untuk aku.. kalau kau kawan aku dan ada depan aku sekarang, aku rasa aku sanggup melutut mintak kau tolong vote untuk aku.. tolong lah, tolong lah!.. nampak tak tahap desperate aku macam desperate housewives tu?.. aku memang desperate sekarang, sebab tarikh tutup voting adalah esok, dan aku perlukan lagi 50 votes untuk jadi top 5.. dan aku memang teringin sangat2, sampai aku tak tau camana nak cakap lagi keinginan aku untuk pergi ke New York nih.. nak sangat sangat.. ada kawan aku kat Facebook yang dah muak, dan cakap dia annoying baca status aku.. okay fine, aku akui, tiap2 30 minit aku tukar status, mintak orang pegi website nih dan vote untuk aku.. tapi kau tahu, dari 800++ kawan aku kat FB, lebih kurang 6 7 orang ja yang rajin tangan pegi website tu dan vote.. 7 orang.. heh, 'baik' kan kawan2 aku?.. ='(

agaknya betul la pepatah melayu cakap, bila kita senang, kawan2 akan senang sama2 dengan kita.. tapi bila kita susah dan perlukan pertolongan, kawan2 kita hilang pegi jauh2.. dan bila kita dah senang semula, muncul kembali lah kawan2 kita yang hilang dulu.. aku berharap sangat kawan2 aku tak macam nih, tapi, aku agak hampa.. aku sedih..

aku rasa pertolongan yang aku mintak tak banyak, dan tak memerlukan diorang untuk keluarkan duit pun.. cuma luangkan sedikit masa untuk pegi website nih dan vote macam nih ja.. tapi?.. hurm.. aku sangat sedih dengan sikap kawan-kawan aku..

tapi aku nak ucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada kawan2 yang setia dan sudi membantu aku di saat aku perlukan korang.. dan rajin register sampai 4 email berbeza semata-mata untuk vote kat article aku.. tak dilupakan kepada family aku yang bagi support 110%.. you guys are the best, dan aku takkan lupakan jasa korang.. aku sayang korang ketat ketat tak lepas!.. muahhhh!!~~ insyaallah, kalau aku dapat dapat pegi New York, aku bawak balik something untuk korang ya..

well anyway, since I'm studying in UUM, Kedah, my weekend starts on Friday, not the usual Saturday..

I spent it on half a day of makeup workshop held by MISC residential hall, UUM..

wasn't that great, but it was okay I guess..

loads of women turned up for the event, almost a full house..

lots of Malay and Chinese, Indians being a minor..

among all these beautiful birds, were 4 flightless birds, the softies..

believe me, they were an eyesore..

in an ocean of women, they -the 4 'men'- stuck out like a sore thumb..

I clearly loath them for being there..

I'm not being judgmental..

I don't mind if the guy is a softy yet straight, but putting on makeup??

that's just taking it too far!

putting on powder, eyeshadow and lip gloss, holding a handbag and doing catwalks?

what the hell is that??!

next thing you know, they'll end up like this..

they may look pretty, but they are artificial..

they are FAKE, people!

don't be fooled..

they aren't original, no matter how hard they tried..

no botox, plastic surgery or hormone pills will change you into a woman..

you're still a guy, through and through..

so act like one!

with the depleting number of men out there, finding a straight guy is hard due to 'men' like these..

'they' tend to target straight men on social websites like Facebook, MySpace, Tagged, and even blogs..

some even have no feeling of shame and approach guys point blank..

'they' somehow made it a goal to change straight men to gays, especially handsome or cute guys..

hence the reason Holloywood is now filled with 'them'..

but I'm not concerned about them Holloywood artists, they'll be ashes anyway..

but the Asians, it's not the way of life here, it goes against so many religion, not just Islam..

please find your way back, life is too short to make this mistake..

I don't know why I had the sudden urge to post this topic..

but I guess I had to, keeping it bottled up did no good..

and I had an inspiration when I read Fatul's blog post somewhere similar to this topic..

oh, not to mention Syahir regarding being bothered by gays..

fyi, they are guys and they're hating it..

well guess what, we girls hate it more..

from my observation and reading, the reasons these 'men' turned this way were:-

1) rejected by women they loved

2) betrayed by women

3) born with the instincts

4) being a woman has more choices

5) want to be understood and loved

this is based on my reading and observation..

but between you me, these are pretty much LAME excuses..

so what a girl dumps you, big deal..

move on la..

as they say, 'there are more than one fish in the sea..'

errr, wait, I think fishes are not the best example here..

hahahaha..

well, you get my point..

I personally know a guy how was gay and a shemale previously, but now turned straight..
